Build your Own Adirondack Chair from Pallets

Have fun while you learn how to use a variety of tools to create a symbol of summer.

Sustainable & Green Friendly

The Adirondack Chair is an icon of the Northeast lake and shore vacation. Over two days, learn how to safely use a variety of tools to make your own chair from recovered pallets. Class size is two to six people of any skill level. All tools and materials are provided for you to complete the class and take your chair home to be painted.

Upcycling pallets into furniture reclaims lumber that would otherwise be destined for a landfill or burned. Pallets may be made from almost any wood. Pallets we find are usually made from pine and we ensure we use only those that are heat treated (HT) and never use pressure treated (PT) lumber that may contain harmful chemicals.

Fun and Easy

Come by yourself, bring a friend, or make it a group outing. Everyone will come away with their own chair ready to be painted at home.
